Lightning Never Strikes Twice Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

mchall: This cache was placed in a tree that had been hit by lightning. The tree has been rotting over the years and is no longer a good hiding spot. I am archiving this so another Geocacher can hide a cache somewhere nearby. This is a great area to go for a walk almost any time of year. Lightning Never Strikes twice was found 248 times in a little over 7 years.

Patriots' Path is part of a system of trails crossing northern New Jersey. Parking lot near trail head, just off Speedwell Avenue. The cache is in a park in the Historic Speedwell section of Morristown, not very far from where Samuel F. B. Morse worked on his invention, the telegraph.
