Geocache Description:

A small cache by a sweet climbing spot. Bring your gear!

This may be a toughy. We were out climbing Rose Ledge in Northfield Mountain Rec Area. If you're a climber, you know the place. If you're a climber and don't know about it, prepare to be awed. If you're not, it's a cool spot anyway. Sweet climbing! So we put a cache there for more fun! (This is rubisco42's original write-up.)

You don't need climbing gear to get to the cache! Lots of other caches on this mountain too!

Take the Rose Ledge hiking trail to get near the cache area. Look for the stairway to go up. The cache is off the beaten path and away from climbing areas. The way to the cache is surrounded by rhododendron bushes. Once up in the bushes above the stairs, you don't have to climb any rocks. You are looking for a small, square, clear lock-n-lock.

This is rubisco42's old hint: Don't come gripin' to me. Yes there is a million places it could be. With dense cover and 75 foot accuracy. Don't come gripin' to me...

June 2011 -- I've modified the hint to make the find easier.

Adopted by BevanQ in March 2010.
