Thank you to Emmnmnl for agreeing to caretake this cache. A short
multi that gives you a chance to stretch your legs in one of my
favourite towns. Hillston was settled in 1863 on the banks of the
Lachlan River and is the largest town in Carrathool Shire. The town
was originally called Redbank but changed it's name to Hillston in
1868 in honour of William Ward Hill who built the first hotel in
town. Got to love a town that named it self after the builder of
it's first pub.
At the above coordinates find the interesting piece of local
history. Now how old was Thomas McFarlane when he arrived in
Hillston. Thats A and B. Now head to S33 A8.705 E145 3B.809 for the
cache.
