Four Mile Historic Park is a Denver Park which is operated by a nonprofit organization. This 12 acre rural site is home to Denver's Oldest House, a Denver Landmark that is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1859, Four Mile House once served as a STAGE STOP, wayside inn, and tavern for travelers on the Cherokee Trail on their way to Denver City.
There are many trails in this park including bike and walking trails. The cache is located a short walk from the parking area on the north creekside trail. Cache container is a large camoed jelly-belly jar, and contains items for adults and kids, plus an Indian maiden who may have wandered off from her teepee not far away.
Happy Hunting!
