This is a multi stage cache hunt - You will be taken on a short tour around the town of Tonbridge taking in some locations which show a little bit of the history of the town spanning over 900 years. I did this to celebrate the 900th cache found by me. Please note this cache has been replaced with a film canister and moved due to extensive clearing work having taken place in its original location. It will be found in a high muggle area so stealth required.
The above co-ordinates are for a car park in the town centre - there is a small charge (this is for Mon to Fri 8-6, Sat 8-12.30 but it is free all other times inc. public holidays)
You will be taken to a number of locations in the town centre where you will asked to find numeric clues - using these later you will be able to find the main cache.
You can find the clues in any order though the order given is probably most suitable.
Clues can be found at :- (1) N 51º 11.868 E 000º 16.591 – An old church and this small alcove is dated when ? = ab’th century
(2) N 51º 11.838 E 000º 16.608 – Sulman = cdef and Brightling = ghij
(3) N 51º 11.805 E 000º 16.662 – A 15th century house, one of the oldest in the town but what number is it = kl
(4) N 51º 11.793 E 000º 16.543 – A memorial plaque date ? = mnop
(5) N 51º 11.726 E 000º 16.502 – A dated bridge = qrst
(6) N 51º 11.822 E 000º 16.470 – Old Fire station – date on plaque ? = uvwx
(7) N 51º 11.798 E 000º 16.434 – Which century for the motte and bailey ? = yz'th
(why not, if you have time, actually go up to the motte which can be found at N 51 11.788 E 000 16.389 (during opening hours only))

I hope you enjoy this little tour - the cache itself is a film canister with log sheet - this is due to the original location having undergone a major facelift
Please be aware the co-ords as you go round are not spot on as some are affected by buildings - however you will get to the general area and a small search for the clues will reveal all. Please when you replace this cache hide it well - thanks
