Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above coordinates!!

John Dean Park is a great place to explore, and in order to find this cache you will have to do a little exploring yourself.

To find this cache, you'll have to locate two interesting landmarks, neither of which are not TOO far away from the posted coordinates.

You are looking for a historic 1858 survey marker (marked by a plaque) and the earth gravity site (marked by a brass disk and three small circular disks arranged in a triangle formation).

Done that? Great! So now: if you were to start at the survey marker and proceed on a bearing of 63.24 degrees true, you would eventually reach the cache. Likewise, if you were to start at the gravity site and proceed on a bearing of 97.35 degrees true, you would also reach the cache...which, by the way, is tucked inside a fallen, rotting tree.

PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY IN THIS SENSITIVE ECOSYSTEM!
