A Scout is Thrifty, this is a recycled container. A Scout is Helpful, it's easy to spot. A Scout is Brave - will YOU be brave enough to seek this geocache? Relax, everyone inside the building knows it's there. The Council Executive, Don Van Winkle, gave permission for the placement of this cache.
The plans for this cache have been in the works for a very long time. As you may or not know, the BSA has embraced geocaching to enhance the Scouting program. One of our area Scouting geocachers has placed a bunch of geocaches that highlight the accomplishments of our Council's Eagle Scouts in the Cache to Eagle series of geocaches.
Many of you may have gone to the GeoScouting Event out at Camp Ohdakota. In fact, there's a GeoScouting website designed around the use of geocaching in the Scouting program.
Now, some information about this cache. The container is smallish, but very easy to spot and quite large. It is a recycled container, meaning it was a geocache in a different location in a previous life. Some of you may recognize the container.
Everyone inside the building knows about the cache, so feel at ease while you hunt. You shouldn't need any hints.
