Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Three Rivers State Park near the day use area. The terrain slopes towards the lake. I rated it a 1.5 for this reason. If it's raining or wet out it will be slippery. And there are some roots to deal with. The park opens at 8AM & closes at sunset, unless you are camping, then you have 24 hr. access. There is a $2.00 entry fee which you pay at the iron ranger. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the view!

The cache is about a 12" long 3" piece of pvc pipe that is capped off. It's painted camo colors. Please be careful when replacing the lid, if you get dirt in the threads it may not seal properly. PLEASE DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. I started out the cache with a log book, pens, a wooden nickle from bonifay rodeo, 3 coins that I caught during a Mardi Gras parade, SMOKEY BEAR TRAVEL BUG, JAYCE THE PANDA BEAR TRAVEL BUG and 2 tree frogs. There is also a note & some cash for the FTF.

If you look out across Seminole Lake, the shoreline straight across & to the left a bit is Georgia, the "peach" state. Thus, I named this cache accordingly.

There are also 2 other caches on the park, Dry creek trail & Don't worry be happy. So you can make your trip here a 3fer. All three caches should take you about an hour or so to find. (That includes walking the whole dry creek trail.)

For further information on the park visit their webpage. (visit link) There is always someone there happy to answer your questions.
