Land along small river, banks slope. Area also has loose rocks underfoot, be careful Also some dirt/mud, and uncut ditches (slippery when wet). You do not have to enter any water. Springtime flood levels may be hazardous. I will monitor in spring in case cache needs to be shut down because of hazardous levels.
This is our first hide. Please provide feedback when you log your find online.
I have always wanted to live along side a small creek or river a bit bigger than this, but with as much of a calming effect. This river however, seems serene most times, and up or down stream may even have beavers, and other wildlife. Come spring however, it's a different story.
This is the same river flowing into the Red in St. Boniface, on the other side of Duff's Ditch. How does this little river span the floodway? It actually goes through a tunnel, just 600 meters west of highway 59.
Cache is a camo'd Lock N Lock which is completely hidden from view.
