Uddnäs hade sin storhetstid vid sekelskiftet.
Då låg här en sebastinfabrik. Sebastin var en föregångare till nutidens dynamit, en blandning av nitroglycerin, natronsalpeter och träkol.
Fabrikslokalerna inrymmer idag en marina.

I the beginning of this century was here a factory of sebastin, an older form of todays dynamite. Sebastin was a mixture of nitroglycerine, sodium nitrate and charcole.
Today, the former factorybuilding hosts a marina.
