This cache has been placed to honor the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe - The Strong People.
Please be sure to place the cache exactly as you find it. Also take care that the log is placed securely inside the bag. There is parking at the side of the road, near the cache site. After finding the cache, be sure to drive up the road a few miles to the Point No Point Lighthouse. Park nearby and look for a large rock with a plaque on it located at N47.54.727, W122.31.643 on a large rock near the Point No Point Lighthouse. That location marks the spot where the treaty of 1855 was signed between the S'Klallam and other nearby tribes with the U. S. Government. This is a very historic spot for the Nux Sklai Yem - The Strong People, as the S'Klallam are called. There are also some great caches nearby.
