This is a SHORT offset-projection cache. This Travel Bug, Geocoin, and other collectible Hotel is located at the junction of Highways 3 and 6 in Salmo B.C. Park at the side of Highway 6, or pull off and drive almost to the cache. You are looking for a camoed ammo can.
We have found it is easy for a TB to be held too long with lapses in caching, or even misplaced or temporarily forgotten, or stranded in a cache over winter. For this reason, we have started this TB B&B at a convenient junction of two highways.
Again, this is a short offset-projection cache.
The coordinates will bring you to a survey monument (capped Iron Pin in concrete). From there, go 27 m at about 27 degrees T north.
If you don't have a compass, or don't have projection capabilities on your GPS, take note of the survey pin. As with all survey points like this, there is a crown symbol on the top. These always point north.
One can estimate 27 deg off of N. The 90 deg angle to the right or east would be 90 deg; therefore, with 27 deg being about 1/3 of the 90 deg angle, estimate 1/3 of the way from N to the East. The line of sight is clear. Try estimating the distance as well.

As this is a TB B&B, please make sure there is at least one TB left in the hotel if retrieving.
