We checked out the last 2 D N Fs this morning at the Final cache and the wooden steps
that it was under as rotted away, and most likely left the cache exposed and Muggled.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, they are for the car park and the starting off point. We suggest you start with “The Viaduct”.
There is a car park just off the A 628 at Hoyle Mill.

The park is at the rear of Hoyle Mill in the Dearne valley.
The park and the fishing pond were created from waste land that lies between two disused canals, with the River Dearne in the center. The park is mostly flat with good footpaths. Very popular with fishermen, families and dog walkers. There are tables and benches for picnicking.
The cache box is a small snap top lid plastic box containing a few shopping trolley tokens (key rings) Smiley fridge magnets, phone neck bands, other key rings, and our logo, old UK Penny's.
Brief history of the Park.
Following a rapid decline in the mining industry, notably during the 1970s and 1980s, the Council was left with a significant problem with derelict land. Over the last 25 years major efforts have been made to reduce the amount of derelict land through a rigorous Land Reclamation Programme which Barnsley Development Agency is responsible for co-ordinating. This has created further landscaped open space in the Dearne Valley Park, at Hoyle Mill, Barnsley and the surrounding area.
