Geocache Description:

And now an experimental cache. This cache is going to be on the move alot, so you need to check back quite frequently. 8-15-01 THERE ARE NEW RULES POSTED. THEY ARE UNDERLINED AND IN BOLD. 4-13-01 THERE ARE MODIFIED SCORING RULES IN RED

heya,
LOCATION: This cache is located in Busse Woods. With this is mind, here is how this cache works. When you find the cache, you are then going to take it and rehide it somewhere else in the same forest preserve. Now if you don't know Busse Woods is a rather large and extensive forest preserve. It extends west to east from I-290(rt.53) to Arlington Heights Road and North to South from Golf Road(rt.58) to Biesterfield. That's alot of territory. If you don't want to move it that's understandable, but if you do YOU SHOULD MOVE IT THE SAME DAY YOU FIND IT AND REPORT IT THE SAME DAY. (obvious if circumstances arise we can be undertanding!)

RULES NEW RULE: When you go out with the intent to find this cache and move it, post a comment indicating the day and time you are going to move it.(give people at least 24 hours notice) When you take it and rehide it you must take down the coordinates of its new location and post them with your found list. Make sure to delete old comments about going to look for it.(make sure to take a few readings and average the coordinates.) You can add any hints, such as parking or little tricks along the way in the comments. Make it as easy or hard as you want.(keep it to medium if you could for the youngins). DO NOT HIDE THIS CACHE ANYWHERE OUTSIDE THE ABOVE BOUNDARIES. YOU SHOULD NOTE HIGGINS ROAD DOES CUT THROUGHT THE MIDDLE AND BOTH THE NORTH AND SOUTH WOODS COUNT AS THE PRESERVE. NEW RULE: WHEN YOU HIDE IT, THE CACHE ITSELF IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF IT

SCORING: Now I devised a plan to keep the cache interesting and to keep scoring fair. I wanted to make a cache that would stay in an area most would know but yet still have a challenge of going out to find it. So here is my plan:
You of course can credit yourself with a score when you find it. But after that you need to find it, in a new location from your last find of this cache, MODIFIED RULE YOU CAN NOW SCORE THIS CACHE EVERY TIME IT MOVES. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS THAT YOU CAN NOT FIND A CACHE, IF YOU WERE THE LAST MOVER! NOR CAN YOU MOVE IT TWICE IN A ROW! FURTHERMORE YOU SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO FIND OR MOVE THE CACHE FOR 10 DAYS FROM YOUR LAST ATTEMPT TO GIVE OTHER PEOPLE A CHANCE AT IT. Just to make it fair.

LAST NOTES: So a few words about the area: Busse Woods, sometimes known as the Ned Brown Forest Preserve is located in Cook County, and is very close to Woodfield Mall, I-290, I-355, and I-90 expressways for easy access. There are several lakes to fish from (its allowed), about 14 miles of paved bike trails, a few bridges, plenty of parking and picnic areas, and in the southwest quadrant there is a boat rental place. A great place to spend a day!
