Geocache Description:

This is one of many caches we placed as Team MDM, which comprises of myself, my wife Diverchick, and my daughter Mina-Bean. Our Title which is: Rivière du Détroit, which means "River of the Strait". The name is a reference to the fact that the river connects Lake St. Clair to Lake Erie. However, it is not a strait by definition. So none the less this is a tour of the Detroit riverside Downriver style.

What you need to do is drive to the posted coords, there you will find a memorial. At eye level there will be three initials. Take the first and third initial and convert them into numbers(A=1, B=2, C=3, ECT). Now take the first number and fill in the missing number for the Latitude: N 42* 12.76?, now take the third number and fill in the missing number for the Longitude: W 083* 09.6??, now these will be the coords to the final. This is a micro cache. Please watch for muggles, return cache as it was, & have fun!
