My first cache is named for a Stash Item that was placed in the 'FIRST ORIGINAL CACHE', GCGV0P. I've been caching for less than a year and have decided to do this Multi in an area where I first 'cut my teeth'. I've lived most of my life in Omaha never knowing this urban wilderness existed till geocaching. Lake Zorinsky, named for a former Omaha mayor and Nebraska Senator, was opened for public use in 1993. There are 768-acres of parkland of which 190-acres are dedicated to wildlife management. The surface area of the lake is 255-acres with a maximum depth of 30-feet. The First Stage, a small homemade container, of this two-part Multi, will provide the corrdinates to a small ammo box. Both segments are near bike paths and/or deer trails--so be STEALTH. Some dreaded bushwacking is necessary, so long pants, tick collars and bug spray are advised.
