Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Geneva State Park, Ohio (hidden with permission). Please observe all State Park Rules and Regulations and park in designated areas.

There is hunting allowed in the park between October 15th and February 28th. Please be careful and wear hunter orange if caching during that period.

This is my first "hidden" cache and is dedicated to all Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Leaders. It is a small camo Lock n Lock with a limited amount of room for small trade items. I would like the trade items to be scout related.

The creek has been flooded for some time..... Park in the Crabapple Picnic Area and take the path by the West Shelter. The coords are N41 51.078 W 080 58.213 and it is about a .2 mile walk ..... Stay on the high ground and you should be fine........ If the creek is no flooded take the Greylyn R. Hydinger walking bridge. (This was Greglyn's Eagle Scout project.) You will then need to follow one of the trails along the creek until you get close to the cache location. It should be a pretty easy find. There are several other routes to get to the cache when the creek is flooded. This will avoid the creek area altogether but will take a few extra minutes to get to the cache. Please return it just as you found it and let me know if anything is amiss.

Enjoy this short hike as it's only about 500' from the parking area. The area can be wet during spring and fall, and there are lots of mosquitoes during the summer months. Be Prepared!

Best of luck and good caching.

CONGRATULATIONS to videomaker for being FTF on September 29, 2007.
