Geocache Description:

Located 1 mile north of Highway 530 near Darrington. Road can be traveled in car, just drive slow.

This is my first cache hidden and is a .50 cal ammo box. It has a FTF certificate inside. Original contents are: "El Carmen, Bolivia" Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug The Narrow Gate Geocoin A frog for the youngin's, a tonka truck, ARRL decal, and a few other odds and ends. And now the story of the area......

The bridge to nowhere crosses the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River and actually goes somewhere now but many years ago this bridge was built and the road was a dead end right at the end of the bridge. It was this way for probably 15 years or so. I beleive they were going to log up there at the time but they decided not to. Some number of years ago the bridge to nowhere finally went somewhere and logging activity followed. This site has been a very popular swimming hole since the bridge was placed here. Great place to practice your CITO skills as the summer muggles tend to litter it up here. The road is in decent shape now and won't scratch your car as it has been cleared but watch out for the chuck holes, they sneek up on you.

Please hide the cache as well as you found it. Do not remove the desiccant pack, it is labeled DO NOT REMOVE. Hoping to keep it nice and dry inside. Have FUN!
