Southwater Book Exchange Traditional Cache
bobknot: Cache certainly seems to have vanished so am archiving it for now. Hopefully in the future I'll plant a new and better hidden book exchange cache in Southwater!

The cache is hidden in the Southwater Country Park. Paths are gravelly and can get very muddy in wetter weather. Be prepared for some hills too
This is the first of what will hopefully become a series of "Book Exchange" caches. This cache is the initial home of the "Terry Pratchett Travel Bug" (TB1R8K9) which is the book "The Colour of Magic" - the first in the Discworld series.
It is hidden in the village's Country Park, previously a brickworks. Enjoy a stroll around the lake, grab a tea or coffee and cake at the park café, if the sun's out chill out on the lake's shore, and there's also a play park for kids.
The idea of this cache is to act as a way of discovering new books and authors that cachers may not have otherwise decided to read, or maybe rediscover an old favourite. I would please ask that if you intend to take a book from the cache, that you come prepared with another to leave in it's
place.
There is a bench nearby the cache location so why not take a seat, enjoy the view and maybe get stuck into your new book? A little bit of stealth may be required, although this is on a path generally less used.
