About 1 hour walk. Cache near Ruin (Ruine) Pfefferbüchsel. Good parking area: N 48°04.879 E016°16.047. Walk up stairs.
This is the first ever hybrid letterbox and first cache ever in Austria.
Based on the idea of letterboxing on Dartmoor in England in the early 90ies this letterbox was placed at Ruine Pfefferbüchsel as one of 4 letterboxes (3 were destroyed within a short time by mugglers, Pfefferbüchsel was retrieved by myself).
Now after more than 15 years I have revived the letterbox incl. the original Stamp and returned it near it's original location.
You may use a compass which will help to find the box, but this is optional and you should find it with the coordinates by themselves:
Cache near Ruin (Ruine) Pfefferbüchsel - Husarentempel 225°, very small tree (next to 2 big rocks) 55° and tree with twin trunks (one trunk cut off - only stump left over) 145 °.
No trade items. Please leave the stamp, logbook, pencil and stamp pad in the box.

The idea of letterboxing is to collect as many stamps as possible.
