This cache is hidden in beautiful Matheson Hammock Park. While
hunting for this cache you should take the time to take in the
scenic views and maybe have a picnic?
Matheson Hammock parks allows you a great way to introduce young
children to wildlife and nature. When I placed this cache, I seen
many large iguanas, beautiful fish in the marina, countless birds,
and plant life second to none. After a bit of walking through
trails you can take your children to the lagoon for a quick
dip!
This cache may be in a spot that a small child may be able to
spot first? Enjoy the views! Please watch for muggles to avoid
having this spoiled for the rest of the visitors.
This cache is placed with the permission of Miami-Dade County
and is a part of a 4 month trial to test the effects of Geocaching
in a Miami-Dade County Park. There is no bushwhacking, and as
always, with any of the parks, please bring a trash bag to grab
trash as you go in or come out! The Park Management is aware of the
locations and reserves the right to remove the caches if deemed to
be a threat to the environment or wildlife without notice.
