Geocache Description:

A pleasant, undulating, four mile walk near Sandhurst Cross
The final stage of this circular walk

Apart from the short stretch of road up to Sandhurst Cross to the phone box (please take care along here) this longish walk is along a series of mostly well sign posted footpaths, so keep a look out for the yellow markers. Some of the paths go through farmers fields which at the time of setting contained cattle and sheep but are now mostly crops. However unless recently ploughed, the path across any field is usually clear. I've given fairly clear notes on the route from cache to cache, but a map is always useful. Inevitably, some of the footpaths will be muddy in places. Dogs will enjoy the walk especially since, at the moment, there are no cattle or sheep in any of the fields. However the are several places marked where there may be ground nesting birds, so make sure you have a lead. There are several stiles, some not in very good condition.

This is the final cache in the series though the coordinates above are not for the cache but for the parking location. The cache is to be found at N51degAB.CDE, E0degFG.HIJ where A,B,C,D,E,F,H and I will be found in caches around the walk.

To find these coordinates you will need to visit several other cache locations to collect the clues, GC169Y1, GC169YM, GC169Z9, GC16A00 and GC16A0E.

Look at the phone number in the phonebox at N51deg01.235, E0deg32.853. The number is 01580 8503G5.

Note as of Sep 2018, the telephone box is not in use now, and the phone has been removed. It's semi derelict with broken windows. Though you can see the required telephone number this may not be the case for much longer. So, the telephone number is (or was!) 01580 850325. So G=2

J is the final digit of the Letterbox number (TN18 27J) to be found at N51deg01.249, E0deg32.890.
