How Geocaching Works

An easily accesible letterbox/cache on the edge of the open moor.
This cache is situated in a narrow moorland valley called Green Coombe and is only a few minutes walk from the closest parking area.
The letterbox stamp is based on the ancient "Green Man" symbol which can be found in several Dartmoor churches, including the three nearest - North Bovey, Chagford & Widecombe.
Please Note - If you are not familiar with letterboxing - DON`T remove the stamp from the box, it`s NOT a swap. If you wish to collect an impression of the stamp you will need to bring a notebook & an ink pad with you.
Good luck & enjoy your search!
