Cache and Dash close to M3 Junction 5.
This short Cache and Dash has been set on Bartley Heath near Hook in Hampshire.
The heathland that covers much of Bartley Heath was created by centuries of grazing by Commoners animals. It is dominated by heather and tussocks of purple moor grass, with areas of Oak and Birch woodland. The heath is dotted with old gravel workings which over the years have become important wildlife ponds.
It looks to me that in a few years, due to the number of Silver Birch saplings, that Bartley Heath will soon become Bartley Birch Forest. Go and enjoy it as Heathland whilst you still can.
Suggested Car Parking, which is only about 50 metres from the Cache hiding place is at N51 16 481 W000 57 568. The terrain is level, but will get muddy in wet weather.
You are looking for a 35mm Film Canister, so just a logbook, pencil and a token for the First to Find to discover.
