Waypoint 3A: You will have to look at the "Orginal Wp 3 sign" picture (below) to answer these two:

- Y = latest date - middle date + earliest date, discard the first 2 digits.
- Z = listed thickness of a coal bed, in feet.

To find the trail entrance, add .081 to the latitude, subtract .159 from the longitude. The ammo can is a short bushwhack off a trail.
The Story Behind the Name
In 2000 a good friend & climbing buddy, Gary Keller, lost a sister-in-law to domestic violence. Back east in Virginia, his wife's sister, new hubby, and two kids were murdered by the ex-husband, who also took his own life. At the one year anniversary my friend did what he called the 'Washington Megathon - Tragedy to Triumph' - a three event fund raiser for domestic violence programs in the area. It was a bike ride from Spokane to Kirkland, a swim across Lake Washington, and a climb of Mt. Rainier. I was going to be one of the bike riders, but two weeks before the event Pam’s (his wife) Dad passed away while traveling up to be part of the support staff. So I took over as the head of the support staff on the bike ride. The third day of the ride we topped out on Stevens Pass (the actual anniversary of the deaths). While driving up the pass, I spotted a rubbermaid type container on the side of the road and stopped to pick it up. It was almost full of blueberries. They seemed OK, so we made blueberry pancakes the next morning. That container is the cache, and the starting contents were all things I had picked up from other caches (i.e.. leftovers), hence the name.
The original container is now gone (replaced by an ammo can), the contents are all different, but the name stays.
Fall 2009: There's a lot of construction going on near the beginning of this cache (and will be for several months). The plaque is still accessable, but there is limited parking. After hours or weekends might be the best time to start this one.
