Geocache Description:

Inspired by the Motorway Mayhem series, A-Road Anarchy are meant to be nice easy stops to break up a journey, and maybe a chance to show off some local features that are normally hidden close to those busy A-Roads.

Located just south of Blyth roundabout (which is currently being replaced with a flyover). This is a chance to stretch your legs after managing to negotiate the roadworks.

Be warned though, this little road becomes very busy during the daytime, so I would recommend attempting this early in a morning or later in the day.

Depending on the time of day, it might be possible to park next to the cache or there is parking available in Blyth itself and walk down to the cache location.

Blyth has several local hostelries that will provide much better food than the services nearby. There is also a village shop and a great craft shop (it's painted blue so you can't miss it!)

There is also a decent indian restaurant if you want that too.

The cache is a specimen tube with log book and pencil, but I would recommend bringing your own writing implement as these pencils tend to gain legs! (and are not very easy to write with. )

I would also like to mention that as the junction has changed recently, satnav users might find locating the right road tricky!
