Geocache Description:


Another leg stretcher for KM as he drives the hiways and byways of northern Alberta doing lord knows what! A jackpine conservation area found along Hwy 28, a few miles SW of Bellis as you head for Smoky Lake! Watch for the access road and sign....they're easy to miss at hiway speed. There's no need for a four wheel drive... but a bit of ground clearance wouldn't hurt if you plan to drive in off the hiway! This area was just missed by a forest fire a few years ago, also I'm saddened to report that for some reason people seem to be using this site as their personal garbage dump....the further back into the Pines you drive the worse it gets! Feel free to CITO to your heart's content!
