Geocache Description:

I was exploring some more of our new neighborhood when I found this access point to Potter Creek Ravine Park. Most of the ravine is extremely steep sided and overgrown with lots of alders, devil's club, and big cottonwood and black spruce trees, but this spot lets one access the creek without a steep muddy slide.

Some of you have visited Portugal, but this cache will take you to the farthest reaches of Bulgaria.  Be sure to check out the interesting architecture of the home on the corner of Goldenview and Romania along the way.

Inspired by several treequest hides we found in New Jersey and after hearing from akgeowidow that one will feel the wrath of her avatar when caches challenge her in a certain way, we decided to challenge everyone equally with this hide.  To approach the new location of the cache, you'll have to choose between devil's club and a creek hop.  I left a couple of tools laying around to assist with the cache retrieval and replacement.

I've CITOed out a half dozen bags of bottles and cans from the area and it looks pretty clean.  However, each time I go back I find more lurking in the undergrowth, especially now that the devil's club leaves are no longer over one's head.  Please bring an empty bag of your own help return the area to a more pristine state.
