Geocache Description:

Nice resting area just off of Highway 530 near Darrington.

This is the Sauk River boat lauch. It has a nice picnic shelter and sanicans for day use. This is also a great place to launch your river boat if you have one. Blue Herons and Eagles can be seen in this area as well as the occasional salmon during the right time of year. The bridge crossing the sauk river was nicknamed the Government bridge by the locals when it was first built many years ago.

The cache is a .50 caliber ammo box and the original contents include:

Red Jeep TB, Brat Bear TB, Xanadu VHS movie (new sealed), 2 US Flag pins, 1 deck of playing cards, 1 Icom pig, tealight candle, and a FTF Certificate.

Cache #2 is a 2 quart plastic container and contains a logbook, a barbie camper and travel size kleenex(unused of course).

Cache #3 is a plastic sealed ammo box and contains a new logbook and a few new odds and ends.
