Located off the bike trails in this park an easy hike through cleared, wooded trails. Park open 7am-10pm. Easy access to parking close to cache.
I introduced some of the moms in our Scout Pack to Geocaching at our last campout and they are hooked! At our yearly bonfire we decided to hide our own cache loaded with many Scout trinkets. We tought the kids about safety in the woods, basic coordinates, keeping our enviroment clean and the joy of being outside.
An easy hike (there were about 30 kids and parents) along cleared, marked trails makes for great quick find. Nearby is a playscape for the younger kids to play on when done.
Ammo box filled with pencils, toys, scout badges and a firts to find treasure wrapped in decorative bag!
