RHM - Hidden Field Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

robor007: We moved to the Atlanta suburbs a little over 10 years ago so I cannot stop by to check on this cache location. Last successful find 09/05/22 . After several DNFs and learning it is now located behind fencing it's time to archive it. Sad day for me as this is my final active cache. Thanks to the folks who reported the DNFs and that the cache is no longer accessible. Maybe the RHM (Rob Hates Micros) series will continue in North GA someday...

Geocache Description:

An easy small container hide just short walk from the neighborhood playground to the west.

!!!! THERE ARE TWO CONSECUTIVE DNFs ON THIS CACHE. IT MAY HAVE GONE MISSING !!!! * Note - Cache was placed just over 15 years ago. I moved to the Atlanta area almost 10 years ago so I cannot easily check it and replace if necessary. I will see if I can get timster to check on it (again). * Note - The ammo can was replaced. Thanks timster! This is the 3rd cache in my 'RHM' (Rob Hates Micros) series of ammo can hides. I've been receiving a lot of positive feedback on this series and I want to say I really appreciate it. It's nice to know there's a lot more cachers out there that love ammo cans too! This cache was originally located in the 'hidden field' about 200 yards or so to the east. Because the area is now off limits to the public and under heavy construction I have moved the cache to a more safe location. The easiest way to approach the location is from the neighborhood playground to the west. Please DO NOT attempt to access from Commerce Blvd to the east - it is a restricted area and it's the long way. I'd like to give credit to my inspiration for this series - DD35Jedi and their 'Just Say No To Micros 02' hide. It was that cache that really got me into Geocaching. If you want a real challenge and you haven't found that one already I highly recommend it. Hopefully when it's cooler I'll be able to find a challenging location to place an ammo can as a worthy tribute to DD35Jedi. As a park-n-grab this one is far from tribute worthy but at least it's another ammo can out there.
