A pleasant rest area on the Palmer River
This is a very nice area for paddling, but there aren't many really good places to get out and "rest". We were on a RI Canoe/Kayak trip and stopped here. Even at high tide, it's a pretty easy spot to get in and out of your boat. There is a fresh water pond on the other side of this strip of land and there were lots of swans in the area. This is a definite 4-star rest area. This is a micro BYOP.
