Parking by the riverside at Abbeystead, follow path about 100 yards further until you reach a footpath on the right, continue on this riverside path for about 1 mile, cross over the bridge and you are not far, you can retrace your steps back to car park or continue on other side of the river on a circular route back to your car passing back through the village on the road. Path may be muddy and a little slippery underfoot at times.
Average sized lockable plastic box, containing toys, all the usual stuff plus our first travel bug (Gulliver). Have fun.
Lots of tree cover, coordinates may not be 100% accurate, took loads of readings and took the average. If anybody can be more accurate then please let me know.
