Well, after reading the Whyalla News today, it looks like the whole GZ is facing the bulldozer before being rehabilitated...hopefully. It is time to say goodbye and goodnight to this little cache in a great spot and
hopefully the night is not too long and that the sun will rise across Maux Horizons...the Remix soon!

Maux Horizons - a sensational view

Welcome to Maux Horizons. This site offers arguably the best 360 degree views of Whyalla, the gulf, Middleback Ranges and even across to the Flinders. Hence, it is a fairly busy and popular spot with local muggles.

The cache here is rated 2.5 for difficulty, as it is a small, well concealed 200ml camo sistema cliptop box, with a logbook, pencil, small sharpener and a variety of small swaps. The difficulty is also stepped up by the havoc that the transmission towers may play with your GPS as you locate the GZ.

Some stealth might be required and take the time to enjoy the views.
