Ammo box hidden at the spectacular Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs, in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park.
Drive in on Willyabrup Rd and park at S33 48.262 E115 00.426. Track is gravel, but accessible to all vehicles.
Step over the fence south of the car park, using the wooden steps provided. This is private property, but the farmer has given his permission for access to the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs through his property.
Follow the track for 500m until you step over the fence again, then continue along the track all the way to the cliffs. Distance from car to cache is about 1km.
The Cape to Cape track also passes along here, so if you are hiking along this trail, it's only a short deviation to this cache.
The cache is a small ammo box, stacked with the usual goodies as well as a FTF certificate.
Continue along the track from the cache, it's an easy scramble down over a few rocks to get to the bottom of the cliffs. Walk along the bottom to view the cliffs in their entirety.
This is a very popular abseiling and rock climbing area, and you will probably see people here most weekends. We have often seen dolphins & even whales from here.
Please keep a close eye on the geokiddies near the edge of the cliffs.
The East coordinate was a bit wonky when I took the reading. Out of 7 readings at different times I got variations from .883 to .891. Let me know if you have trouble, and your reading, and I'll adjust the coordinates if necessary.
