Geocache Description:

Yet another adventure cache hidden on Upper Duck Island.

Duck Island is a fantastic area for viewing wildlife. Take your time and keep your eyes open. Paddle the whole length of the bay rather than take a short cut. We saw several river otters on the way to the cache location.

The cache location is only accessible by canoe or kayak. The water is too shallow for regular boats and the area is environmentally sensitive. Please be careful.

Parking and boat launch are available at N 45° 27.770 W 075° 37.564. Be sure to look for these other canoe caches close by. It should take over an hour to do all the caches from the parking specified.

I'm not sure if we put a pencil in this one when we hid it. It's probably best to bring your own.

The cache is not winter-friendly due to unsafe ice conditions.
