There is a puzzle at the first stage. Solve
it to find the coordinates of the second stage. See the encrypted
hint for details.
The Octahedron is one of the five Platonic Solids. A Platonic solid
is a convex polyhedron that has identical regular polygons for
faces and has the same number of faces arranged around each vertex.
See my
blog for a proof that there are only five Platonic solids.
The Octahedron has eight faces that are equilateral triangles,
with four of the faces arranged around each of the six vertices,
and 12 edges.
This is a two-step multi-cache. There is a PVC tube cache at the
posted coordinates that contains a game board and an octahedral
game piece, but no log book. Solve this puzzle to find the
coordinates to the second cache.
The second cache is a sandwich-sized lock'n'lock container. It
contains a log book, pencils, a calculator, a flashlight, a game
with octahedral dice, and various other octahedral dice.
The cache also contains a clue to the final coordinates for
Plato's Five Gems: Bunganator's Grand Slam.
