Well, another year has come and
gone...and Bubba is now six years old. This year's
installment will take you on a slightly longer hike (Bubba is
getting older ya know) of around .6 miles round trip. Same as
last year, I led him to the area and he took it from there.
Bubba picked the hiding spot, he and his little sister
camoflaged the container so it would not be seen by any
muggles passing through the area, and Bubba came up with the
name.
You will be hiking a portion of the
North Country Trail just north of West Sunbury, PA. The North
Country National Scenic Trail is a premier footpath that stretches
for about 4,600 miles linking communities, forests, and prairies
across seven northern states. Visit (NorthCountryTrail.org) for more information on this
wonderful trail system which runs right through our
area.
Now then, there is parking for one or possibly two cars at N41
01.759 W79 54.319. You will see a sign marking the trailhead at the
parking area. See below:
From this area, follow the blue
blazes immediately to the left of the sign until your GPS says
around 50 feet...then start searching. This should be a very easy
find once you're in the correct area, hence the 1 difficulty.
Please conceal the cache as well as or better than it was when you
found it. I'm not sure how trafficked this area is...but you never
know.
Initial contents are the contents of Bubba's Cache I when I
pulled it a few weeks ago minus what I considered trash and a few
broken items. A handful of toys and a few miscellaneous items I had
laying around went in as well.
Enjoy your hike!
