Geocache Description:

The TFHTC Micro Cache Series is a series of small caches placed mostly on guardrails along roads and highways in this area. This series may not appeal to everyone since they are all simple log only caches, usually located in the same place on each guardrail.

Our motivation for placing these caches was to provide cachers an opportunity to find easy caches and remain interested in geocaching during the sweltering heat of summer here in West Texas. Historically, geocaching involvement in this area declines during the warmer months due to the heat and excessive overgrowth of vegetation (not to mention the snakes, bugs, etc. These caches will provide an opportunity for cachers to almost avoid these detractors and stay involved with finding geocaches during West Texas's "tougher" geocaching months.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: If you are interested in placing a cache at a location but one of these caches prevents placement due to the 0.10 mile distance requirement, we will archive the TFHTC cache immediately with no questions asked. Simply contact us and we will take care of it. We would much prefer to have a quality cache in these areas.
