Logan's Run Traditional Cache

This cache is located between the Amherst Bike Trail along Ellicott creek and the University at Buffalo.

Found the cache about 8 inches from where it was originally placed. It was a bit wet so I took it home to dry the log book out. I plan on relocating the cache soon to a new location where I hope it will remain drier and not flood. Now that the trees have been uprooted the old location is no longer a safe geocaching area.

This cache has been placed in honor of my boys who love geocaching. It also has another purpose. My boys would like to break the world record for the biggest collection of lapel pins. Placing a lapel pin is not a condition to log a find, but it would be appreciated it you could leave a lapel pin to help us out. (If you see a lapel pin in the cache please leave it there, there are other items to trade.) I will remove any lapel pins left for our collection on a weekly basis.
The cache is a lock-n-lock container.

Parking for the cache is at N43 00.635' W078 47.233. BE FOREWARNED - THIS LOT IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE AFTER 3PM. IF YOU PARK IN THIS LOT FROM 7AM-3PM YOU WILL RECEIVE A TCIKET (UNLESS YOU HAVE A UB PARKING TAG). You can also access the cache by taking the bike trail to N43 00.728, W078 47.117 and then following the cache coordinates.
(I changed the terrain to a 2 but there shouldn't be any bushwacking required, just pushing some branches out of the way. The cache is not that far off the path.)
