Park and grab near town beach
This cache is located NEAR the Swansea Town Beach/Boat Ramp. Entry to the beach is not required. Cache is a replacement for the original "Seaweed and Jellyfish" cache which had been muggled. Since the new spot is too far away from the original to simply update the coordinates, we archived the orginal and created the sequel. Refinds for everyone.
This is a park and grab cache. No hiking required. Cache is a small magnetic key case. Please bring a pen. No room for trade items.
My family used to visit this beach daily when I was growing up and what I remember most about it was the seaweed brushing by your legs and the jellyfish floating by! Thus the name.
This area can be very busy on a hot beach day, so please be very careful on your hunt. Though it is now located in a less visible area, some neighbors may still be watching! Please watch for boat ramp traffic.
Parking is available. Lots of people park at the ramp and eat lunch or walk the beach and as far as we know, a parking permit is only required if you are launching a boat. If you are quick, you can just pull over to make the grab.
