This spot has always been a spot that Mrs C
and I have always enjoyed along the coastline.
I also remember many Sunday drives with my
parents stopping here for a cuppa from the thermos and exploring
the beach.
Now there is a monument to HMAS
HOBART which resides 10kms West.
Unfortunately I don’t dive so probably wont
get to log
39 Green Ghosts.
There is also the option of the climb up the
hill to get
All Day Sucker and enjoy such spectacular views as this
captured by Team Astro.
Unfortunately not all are good with heights,
or (like myself on a work trip) wouldn’t like to attempt it solo
just in case of a fall, but we will return for it one day.
The cache is small, so no swaps. Just enjoy
the views and remember all those that served on HMAS HOBART.
The day I visited strong wind warnings had
been issued and the sea looked wild, but quite spectacular, and
unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me.
If you have a camera, please post some shots.
Cheers
