"Eeerie Grape Tree" Traditional Cache
Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Great hike along the historic Erie Canal. Easy, flat, ATV trail leads you very close to cache. As anyone knows grape vines dont grow on trees. When the tree was young baby vines grew and attached to it. As the tree grew so did the vines and now they are so tall. The vines intertangled in this medium size tree give an interesting "eeerie" effect.
Park at N43 06.776 W078 44.252. Follow North ATV trail for about 1 mile. Use caution while hiking trail since ATVs are frequent. Some sections are thick brush with little room to escape. When you hear their roar simple get to the side quickly and let them pass harmlessly.
The cache is a standard 30 cal camoflage ammo box. Inside are the usual trinkets and a disposable camera. Please leave the camera behind so all that visit can take a fun picture. The more creative the better.
There are numerous "Grape" trees but make sure you pick the right one......
