The biggest and the most beautiful waterfall on the island of Bali.
The road to the location winds along the sides of the steep valleys, just following the natural fall of the land. Pass by coffee and cloves groves, if you are here in the dry season you will smell the heady aroma of cloves being dried on tarpaulins by the road side.
On the pathway down to the Falls, the scenery is varied, from grassland to rice paddies and terraces.
Please note that there is an entrance fee to the Falls - Rp3,000 (A$0.37c). Because this is a commercial venture, the cache has been placed in the vicinity of the car parking area across the road from the Falls entrance. The guardian of the cache is Ni Ketut (female), and her husband Wily you may also like to get a cool drink here before descending to the Falls.
Please note that access to the cache is between 10 am & 6pm.
