Geocache Description:

A walk along part of the Nene Way near Wadenhoe Church.

This cache is in memory of our son & brother, David, who died suddenly in June 2007. We placed this cache on 6th October 2007 which would have been his 25th birthday.
As a Beaver, Cub, Scout and Venture Scout David visited these woods and the nearby Scout campsite many times.

Parking is available at Wadenhoe Church (accessed over a cattle grid from the Aldwincle to Stoke Doyle road - N52° 26.307 W000° 31.285) or park near the village hall at the end of Church Street in Wadenhoe Village.

From the church walk down the hill past the sundial and through the gate at the bottom.
From the village hall, take the lower path when it splits towards the church.
Then follow your arrow.

The cache is a small 1ltr lock n lock style container.

If you are visiting on a Sunday you may wish to stop off at the village hall which serves Cream Teas from 3pm onwards.
