As I was driving by here today, I saw this little niche, even with my excessive speed. I thought it would be a good place for a cache. After I had gone about three miles down the road, I decided to go back and hide one.
This is a very busy road!!!!! There could be the slightest amount of danger in getting back on the road, so don't say you have not been warned!
If you use the shoulder as an acceleration lane, you should have no problem. I pulled out from here twice today. Once to hide the cache, and once more to record the coords. It seems that I forgot about them and realized it as I was in Castlewood. As long as you are careful, you should have no problems.
As I was leaving here the second time, I found where someone had lost a box of 1" sheet metal screws. I picked up about a hundred of them. Actually, I should say a hundred and one, because when I stopped at Walmart in Lebanon, I had to visit their service dept. Luckily I had their road hazard warranty.
Please rehide this one as well as you found it. That may be difficult, though, due to the loose rocks. You are looking for a small round lock-n-lock.
