Geocache Description:

Vue d'aigle means eagle's view so expect a breathtaking view of the snow covered Alps and the valleys below at an altitude of 1373m. Be aware that the Col can be closed during wintertime!

Location is about 25km east of Valence(Drome).

You'll have to follow the D199 to the summit of the Col de la Bataille. The GC is located on the north-east side of the road so you'll have to walk a short distance through the forest to get there. Tree cover is very dense so you'll have to go to the rocky edge to get a clear reading. Be careful not to fall over cause it's going to take you a very long time before you hit the ground!
