This cache is located in a scenic area that is often depicted on post cards in our province.
This cache was set to celebrate our 700th find and to celebrate an important event in the life of our cousin, affectionately known as "Woo", who received a Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary of Avalon Northwest in recognition of her achievement in her chosen profession. Needless to say, we are so very proud of her and wanted to mark this occasion in a tangible way.
The structure nearby the cache location was built in 1894 and the community where it is found was called Broad Cove until 1905, when it was named after this building. This area has been a favourite for our family to take Sunday Drives and this particular location has great significance to "Woo".
The cache is in a tiny jar containing a log sheet, First Finders Prize, and a Nano Bug which was brought back from our vacation in Alaska and British Columbia. We would really like PB to get this bug at some point!!
