444k for Photom Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

jpd43: Well it was fun while it lasted. I really liked the idea of these really fancy gates out here in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, no way to replace as a similar container would undoubtedly come up missing again, so this one is history. Thanks to those who came by and enjoyed the interesting country road.

Geocache Description:

Photom recently celebrated his milestone 4000th find! So I decided I would place 4 caches. The I decided that at least one should be a 4 terrain, 4 difficulty for his 4000th find. Hence 444k. This cache is on Indian Gulch Road just outside of Hornitos. The road is fairly well maintained and I made the trip in a Hyundai Tiburon, so anybody should be able to get to it. There are some gates there that seem to lead to somewhere, but where? The first time I saw these gates I knew I had to put a cache near here. Think Twi-Light Zone. The cache itself is a nano, but not one of the little magnetic ones, it is probably only a 2 difficulty but then, who knows? The terrain difficulty depends on where you come from. If you come from 140 after getting McCrory Road or the Kenna birthday series ending with Rubber Ducky, it will be a 3.5 - 4 difficulty, coming from Hornitos Road, it will be more of a 1.5 - 2. CONGRATULATIONS PHOTOM! (sometimes I think he keeps making these milestones to make me put out tribute caches for him to find!) Need a hint? Call or email, I may post one later, but after all, it is a 4 difficulty. There is no need to cross any fences.
