This small cache is located near the trig point on Mynydd Garn Wen. The views are fabulous from here and you can pick out other cache sites in the far distance. There is lovely quiet clearing to have a rest or a picnic amongst the stones near the cache.
Follow the signs to The Folly to Trevethin but continue up the hill on Church Avenue instead of turning right at the shops. At the top of the hill turn right into Lasgarn Lane where you will see a sign for Pontypool Golf Club. There is room to park a car at N51 43.831 W003 02.232 An uphill walk of less than a mile there and back. Looking at the map and google earth it looks like you could park at The Folly car park and take a longer and steeper walk up to the trig point.
